Artext crack

Hi 2 months ago I noticed a thin crack running along my ceiling I filled it and it was fine now I have a crack running along from the other wall and meeting the original crack.

Will it? The crack was very thin and the filler has covered it. You can see a slight blemish in some light due to filler i believe. Apply a layer of pvc and let dry then apply your new artex matching the patterns if you have any with a sponge or soft brush.

Artex is often considered outdated and removing it can be difficult. Another option is to plaster over the artex. Plastering over the artex is much harder than plastering over a normal surface such as plaster board or a surface that has previously been plastered. If you have plenty of time, steam can remove Artex. Use a steamer. Move your steamer slowly but steadily along the area of Artex you want to remove.

Do not leave the steamer in any one spot for too long. Once the Artex is damp from the steam, remove it using a handheld scraper. Now, Artex ceilings can actually devalue a house. Undamaged and painted Artex is usually harmless.
