Paint tool sai tutorial tumblr
The first two are almost useless for me in most situations so I highly suggest switching it to Color Difference. Using Color Difference, it selects things depending on what color they are. Being able to adjust how sensitive the detection is is really useful for when you just want to select one specific colored area or when you want to select all of the colored area.
Its very easy to get a feel for it. Otherwise it can be left on and is kind of necessary for selecting things neatly. As for the target modes, there are 3 of them. It only selects things that are on your active layer.
All Image selects things on all the visible layers. All of the modes and settings on the magic wand tool are extremely useful and i highly suggest experimenting with them!!
The selection bar has two really useful and easy to use tools that I think everybody should know about. Which should have been posted on Friday…anyway. So, I thought, why not? Though, this post is a bit longer then the others, so…read at your leisure. Anyway, first off, is the Move Tool.
The next post will be up either tomorrow or Monday. Depending on how things go for me tomorrow. With that said, the first tool is the Lasso Selectoin tool. Well, I know I said I wanted to get into painting and such a couple days ago…but I also said I wanted to go over a few more tools first, because I want to give a bit of a basic idea for using them first.
Welcome to the first edition of the Weekly Deconstruction. If anyone can think of a better name, for the love of god please tell me because I suck at naming things. Or was it written by a friend of hers? This is something that I, of course, very much agreed with her on, and I have been holding off on this until now.
Why did I hold off? Because have my own way of doing things goddamnit!
