The 'tangram' part would make a good game in itself, but the addition of the rush hour style movement to even get the blocks in the yellow area makes the game even more interesting.
It was a simple idea but a great game to waste time for because by 16 your wanting to give up but you have to carry on. Im going to get 19 later i know it. Its just so annoying when youve moved them all around, then press reset and spot it immediatly! Jeff set up a mirror himself, and the links above have been changed to point to it.
Get your Phit on! Put the purple askew "W" in the bottom left hand corner. Then put the yellow piece with three squares on top and two on the bottom next to it on its lower right side.
Then build up from there. I'm enjoying this game so far. I'm up to level 15, and as someone said above, i am just starting to bang my head against the wall.
So i thought i'd take a short break for lunch and to write this. Wulfo above pretty much sums it up for me also. My one complaint would be that the control of the pieces seems a bit loose to me, as if the mouse were connected to the piece with weak elastic. I should probably just get over that and be a little more careful with my mouse movement though.
Here is the solution to level 25; the image is under the spoiler tag. This one probably took me between hours to solve; definitely the hardest one I've come across yet.
I know it's hard to read but it's the best i could do, it's too hard to describe and i couldn't get photobucket to work. Sometimes it helps to build the structure at the TOP of the screen instead of in the yellow area at the bottom. You look at the pieces differently that way. Start with all the parts strewn around the bottom of the screen then begin putting pieces in the top corners and build down.
Once you have it done of course it's easy to slide it down to the finish area. Thanks for the Spoiler for 25! Not stuck anymore, but not going any further either. Who would have thought that I'd still be playing Phit after 2 hours! Great game! Very tetris-like! And that's all I have for now. I don't have any screen capture software so I just used my digital camera to take pics of the monitor. They're all clear enough for you to see the right placements I think.
Stuart posted a link earlier but the way it's formatted doesn't work. Here, I think this way will. So I've totally become dependent on these spoilers. Oh good Grieph. Level 60 is giving me phits, I can't phigure out even a phirst step here much less phinish the conphounded thing.
It's not just you. I've been on 60 all day. Well, I went to work and to a movie and ate and things. So not all all day, but I keep coming back to it and not getting anywhere. This game has taken over my life when I am at work and I even have dreams about some nights during the week I've spent the past two days in between my work trying to make level PHIT!
I keep getting almost there but not quite and rearranging everything completely and finding the same not-just-right problem. Can anybody help? It's becoming distracting instead of just something to do in between the monotony of my job Juli I tried for a while but I didn't get anywhere with it either.
I also discovered I was completely burned out on Phit. Or at least didn't feel like playing that day. I suddenly remembered about this place and thought I'd look in. Is it really over 4 months since I was last here?! I haven't been playing Phit at all in the meantime, but when I saw was giving trouble, I couldn't resist having a go at it, and eventually managed it :.
Just checking in here myself after a prolonged absence. Figured I'd have another crack at that tough level but I see you managed it already. My mother ask for advice on the game. She has grid paper and cuts out the pieces she has a hard time solving. She then tries to solve them at work. I'm stuck on level 7, is that good? Never mind that, but can I get a walkthrough for level 7?
I'm stuck on have been for days.. Can someone post a spoiler? I'm getting really frustrated.. Sari I wasn't able to get in the few minutes I had here but I'll try again later if I remember. Maybe some of the other phit phreaks will stop by again and help us out Sari.
I'll keep working at it when I have time taking time off from GemCraft 0 that is and if I figure it out I'll post a solution for ya. I have only been playing this game for like 6 months on and off, but did levels 1 like 8 times because I thought it only went to Then I found this site and started playing on armor games and it works a bit better. I'm on level right now.
I'll try out in a day or so and see what I can do. I can't get anywhere with sari and rumi. I'm still grappling with it now and then when I have time. I've been close a few times but can't quite get the final pieces to fit. Yeah I do kind of the same thing rumi - I'll push all the pieces to the bottom of the screen then try building it from the top down. Too bad some of the others who were working on this game way back when aren't checking in here anymore.
Hey rumi just post it on your account over at photobucket or some site like that then copy and paste the address in here. There it is. Yeah, it really looked hard. I had to play on it for like 2 days. Almost gave up, then I got it. Yeah now I'm on but I got stuck on one of the levels and I haven't been at home much to play. Otherwise i would play all day everyday. I skipped 2 levels. Just making me mad Just couldn't do it. If anyone gets either of those, please post a screenshot because I couldn't do it.
Way harder than Hey folks! I cannot believe it was December when I last posted here! I did look in a few times after that, but it was so quiet I thought everyone had left and this place had finally died. Then I forgot about it. Trawling round my Favourites a couple of weeks ago, I found it, and was amazed to see there had been some renewed activity. Sorry I missed being here for I'm still working on that one - having resisted looking at rumi's screenshot for now. Glad to see that AaronzDad is still around occasionally, and that we have a new addict, rumi, hi to you both!
As usual, I couldn't resist it when I saw we had a new challenge in , and, rumi, you will be glad to know that I have the solve here Sorry I didn't post it earlier, as I assumed rumi would have solved it by now and moved on. By the way, don't be fooled by my time of 24 mins and moves! I had worked on it, off and on, for about 4 days before that without success, but when I came to it again, it just sort of all fell into place often the way. Interestingly, here is a screenshot of my previous best effort which I thought was really close, and would just need a few adjustments , but you will see that it is actually completely different - which shows that if you are on the wrong lines, it just will not Phit!
Goes off to have a try at - I find I am enjoying them again, and can feel my addiction returning. Oh dear…….. Well, that certainly is a real stinker, reminiscent of our old friend After 3 days, I thought it was never going to go - we just didn't seem to have the right pieces, and the absence of any small ones meant I was always left with a niggly gap.
However, this morning fresh eyes brought victory! I think the secret was separating that purple Z piece from the dark blue "staircase". Here is the solution: Level I'm on a roll now : Got after an hour tonight. Only then did I allow myself to look at Rumi's solve, and was rather surprised to see that, although similar in places, they are actually quite different.
Here is my version:. This was my first session at it and I got it in a straight 1 hour 40 mins, so although tricky I didn't find it as bad as some of the others. After working on it for several days, I had 4 or 5 close ones with only one piece left, and thought I would never get it.
However, at long last I have success! It turns out to be nothing like my other ones! My method is: to get a section I am fairly happy with - in this case, the right-hand side, up to the red with yellow above it - which leaves a section I see I can jiggle around with, where various bits will interact with each other. My previous attempts had no such "jiggling section" - but this time I felt I was on the right lines and once I moved the turquoise Big C piece from the bottom to the top, I had it :D.
