Sims bon voyage guide
Pyro decides to take the family to Twikkii Island, and he'll wait until he arrives before picking a hotel. One thing not shown in screenshots is that you have to choose who you're taking along, and how long the vacation will last.
In Bon Voyage, you can choose to stay for 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 days. Naturally, the longer you stay, the more fun you have and the more you can discover, but also the more expensive it will become. However, we should point out one very nice thing about vacations here: you do not need money up front. You should have plenty for souvenirs and so on, but airfare and hotel expenses are calculated into the final bill rather than being removed from the family's funds immediately.
We'll touch on the bill details at the end of the Falkons' vacation. Last Edited: 30 Mar am. Pick and choose the ones you want and the game will build them up. The ones that you select will be created and this will take some time so you might as well go get something to drink, have a toilet break, whatever.
With fast computers, it will take about 5 minutes while with older or slower computers, it will take to 15 minutes tops. Like I said, it will take its time. Relatively simple. Use your phone or your mobile given that you have University, and click on the vacation button.
There will be two options, one will be to book a vacation, the other will be to purchase a vacation house, which we will go into later. Anyway, you can click to go on vacation.
Well, now you will be presented with a little menu that allows you to customise your vacation. You can pick when you want to leave for the vacation, the longer you delay the trip, the more it will save you. You can then choose the length of your vacation. The shortest possible vacation will be three days and two nights and this can go up till seven days and six nights. Please note that you cannot go on vacation forever, however, a glitch released with the base expansion will never let you leave the vacation area.
You can then pick the amount of people you want to go with you. You can only bring along friends and family members with you on your little trip. You cannot however, bring in children and your pets, if you have the Pets expansion pack, with you on vacation, you have to have a member of the family at home to look after them. Anyway, book your vacation and the shuttle will arrive depending on when you book the airfares.
You can also pick your destination that you want to go to. You have the choice of the created vacation locations that you have created or have made yourself and then you choose the accommodation. This is be done here or it can be done when you arrive in the Vacation neighbourhood, entirely up to you. Of course, if you want a cheap vacation, head to the Three Lakes and the camp ground where it doesn't cost you a dime, except for the airfares.
After you have done this, a shuttle will come along and pick you up and you will, assuming that the Sims is correct, take you to the airport and send you to your Vacation destination. When you have your residance set up and ready, you can go around and have a vacation. You can walk around to lots or take a taxi. Whatever you do, have fun on your Vacation. Not the fee of going on the vacation, the fee of the airlines. There is also the cost of bringing another person with you.
I'll draw up a table of the costs and the like. These are the airfares for your trips by the way. This cannot be changed at all. I'll draw up another pointless diagram for the cost of bring more than one person on your little trip.
The more you bring, the more expensive the airfares will be. One thing that is lacking with this is that there is no choice between economy and business class. Anyway, it doesn't matter since the most expensive cost will be the hotel charges. Learn about local customs and history while enjoying the beautiful sights. Come stay at this tranqil vacation spot that promises not to disappoint.
However, this is like the University Dorm Rooms and you will need to quickly claim the rooms that you want to use first.
This is important as the room will be gone quick. Also, you can do some things to your door, such as lock it. Well, there are four hotels in Takemazu Village to choose from. This is your first priority as it will determine how much you will pay.
The prices are in their unmodified forms by the way so don't think they are wrong because I wrote them all down. All bathrooms will contain a bath, normally a cheap one, a toilet and a sink for your use. All rooms will contain wardrobes, a phone, tables and chairs as well. These are all standard for all hotels.
This also applies to all the other vacation destinations. However, the reason they are cheaper is that you don't actually live in it full time and can only live in it during your vacations. Still, if you travel a lot and want to muck around in buy mode, then go ahead. They are listed below in all their glory and what you can do on the specific lot. You'll be dazzled by the rolling waves, exciting culture, and the world famous Pirate Wreck.
So come visit and take a break in a beach hammock, shop for some stylish local goods or get a soothing massage.
Anyway, without further ado, lets present the statistical analysis of the hotels of the Twikkii Island destination. For once, there is a big gap. These are far superior than the ones of Takemazu village since there are some beaches in it, far better since you can comb the beach. Anyway, here they are. These are reminders of what you have achieved in your vacations.
This can be accessed through the Sim Personality section and there will be a little suitcase which is your vacation mementos section. You can achieve these mementos when you do some certain things.
I have split these up into four different sections, and this is because some are specific to certain vacation destinations. Ones that involve all vacation locations are listed here however. This is achieved by attending all the tours available to you. There are 3 tours for each location, 3 for Far East, 3 for the Island and 3 for Mountains, and you need to go on all nine to achieve this memento.
This requires you to travel to wherever you want and have 5 good vacations. That means, 5 good, different trips. This takes time rather than a one off memento. This requires you to go on only one tour. This is the basic one before you can be guided to all the tours. More on tours later, but to go on one, click on the tour guide in the front of the lot and select a tour. There are two quick methods to do so. You can either dig for treasure until you find a scroll detailing the location of a secret lot and from there, go to the secret lot in the corresponding Vacation destination or go on a tour and the result is discovery of a secret lot.
Just visit the lot and voila, you have discovered a "secret lot". To accomplish this, you need to use the click on the phone and order room service. You then choose what you want delivered to your room, whether it will be a single or multiple dish and after you select, the receptionist will deliver the food to you. This requires you to go on a vacation and by the end of it, you have enjoyed it. That means you have accomplished some mementos and some of your wants rather than create enemies.
You can dig basically anywhere, even in your own backyard. After you do this, you sooner or later will discover a map or scroll to a secret lot in a specific vacation location.
You can also achieve this as a random event from going on tours. You have to keep digging until you find the Buried Treasure. It is rather valuable and gives a good environment score so it isn't all that bad. It requires you to go on 5 different tours, which means you will have to go to at least two different vacation destinations. It will cost you at least Simoleons to complete this.
Useful to build-up a one-on-one relationship, or possibly make your romantic move on your guest. For better or worse, any Sims in the neighborhood, including townies, cannot be brought in as houseguests. I suppose that's because it doesn't matter, as you can constantly invite them over and ask them to stay the night.
The new houseguest invite only works for Sims who live in the vacation spots. To further customize your Sims' individuality, you can buy and wear jewelry on several body parts. Fingers, eyebrows, noses, ears You can swap any jewelry you've bought or found at any mirror after giving the Change Appearance command. Below we see Stephanie Falkon showing off her new earrings. Prior to Bon Voyage, whenever you wanted to leave the lot, you either had to take the whole family, or take only a single Sim.
The only exception was if you initiated a date between two family members. This has been changed, so when you want to take your Sims shopping or whatever, you can select precisely which Sims you want to travel. Wallowa Park: A favorite vacation spot among the Three Lakes locals, Wallowa brings out the best in the wilderness. You can relax by the grill or just have a fun outing with friends. Although no one has confirmed this, many travelers are now wary of approaching this secluded natural hideaway.
Others have bravely ventured there in hopes of finding this beast and taming it. Perhaps you'll be lucky enough to catch a glimpse or more of the fabled creature. The map you need is "Map to Hidden Burrow". Chance cards will appear as before so no surprise. Logging: Experience the rugged and exciting mountain lifestyle with this logging tour. Bird Watching: Get a glimpse into the lives of the local birds with this bird watching tour.
Nature Trail: Enclose yourself in native flora and give your legs a workout on this nature trail. Have the locals around to learn them.
Native to this area is the greeting of a chest pound. Sims will beat their chests with their fists. The local dance is the slap dance which is where your sims will slap themselves as they dance. The massage is the Deep Tissue Massage. You'll also have to make a detour to find the local Bigfoot so your sim can collect that vacation memory.
Most of them are pretty straight forward and don't need to be explained much. Listed below are the memories your sims can get while on their vacation. What is so different with Bon Voyage is that they are taking it to the next level.
You're now able to add jewelry to your Sim. For those with the Nightlife EP installed, you have some new turn on's and offs. Along with this new EP, you will get new hairstyles, clothes and glasses. They fit on index, pinky, and thumbs. These can only be worn by teens and up. You're also welcomed to add new bracelets to your sims.
With these, you're given some choices of watches. They can be worn on either hand. There are also a beads pattern that is on some of the bracelets. Along with those, you can add a new necklace to your sims.
There's a nice variety to them. Some come in colors while others have different items hanging down. Some are unique to each area of the vacations.
From the age of a child and up, Sims can wear them. Next your Sims can put on some earrings. These range from colored studs to hoops to different designs from the vacation locations. Last new jewelry that has been added is facial piercings. Your Sims can now have lip rings, eyebrow rings, nose rings and the alike. With the nose, you can also have studs. Colors are the standard gold and silver. Lip rings can be placed in the middle, right or left side. Nose can be either side as well a ring in the middle.
Mostly, the new clothes come from the different vacation areas. For women, there's 5 new kimonos, all in different colors. There is one lumberjack for the women. Also for the men, there's 4 outdoors one for like summer. For the fall time, there's 5 long pants for men. There's the same for teens of both genders. Mixed with that is some new summer clothes for female kids but nothing too spectacular. There are only three new ones but it's a start. They come in all the hair colors.
First one is a curled up mustache at the ends that curl towards the nose with a gap in the middle and a small goatee that just covers the chin. Second one is a really shaggy one with lots of loose hairs covering the chin, upper lip, and cheeks.
Last one is a very subtle line of hair that extends from the lower lip to three quarters of a way down the chin. Men do have one new set of eyebrows to match the subtle goatee. For females, there are 7 new glasses. Four of them are big round ones with semi-thick frames. The other 3 are big, long, and have a lens covering part of the nose and all of the eyes. The frame colors are two yellow and one white. All of them are see through.
For the males, there are also 7 glasses. Three of them are big square block ones with white or gray frames plus black or gray see through lenses. The last 4 are slanted squares with a slight oval look to them.
The frames are gray, black, and white with blue, orange, and black lenses.
